Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of RankPilot, a Shopify SEO management product operated by RankBrain Solutions. By installing or using RankPilot, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

RankPilot analyzes your Shopify store’s SEO, surfaces prioritized issues, and helps you fix them — including with AI-generated content — and syncs approved changes back to your store.

2. Beta

RankPilot is currently offered free of charge during a beta period and is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Features may change, and we may apply reasonable usage limits. We’ll give notice before introducing paid plans.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

4. Shopify authorization & your content

• You authorize RankPilot to access and modify your store data through the Shopify Admin API to provide the service.
• You remain responsible for your store’s content and for reviewing AI-generated content before relying on or publishing it. All changes are versioned and reversible from within the app.
• You must have the right to use and modify the content in your store.

5. No SEO guarantees

Search rankings and traffic depend on many factors outside our control. RankPilot helps you follow SEO best practices, but we do not guarantee specific rankings, traffic, or revenue outcomes.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service, including attempting to disrupt or reverse-engineer it, using it for unlawful purposes, or uploading infringing or malicious content.

7. Intellectual property

We own the RankPilot software and brand. You retain all rights to your store content. We claim no ownership over the content in your store.

8. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided without warranties of any kind, and RankBrain Solutions is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim (which, during the free beta, is zero).

9. Termination

You may stop using RankPilot and uninstall it at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms. On termination, your store data is deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [your jurisdiction], without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
